2. About Yumio

Yumio exists to make learning more personalised, accessible, and effective.

The platform helps students by providing:

  • Explanations of academic topics
  • Practice questions
  • Exam-style preparation
  • Revision tools
  • Feedback on answers
  • Learning recommendations
  • Progress tracking

Yumio is designed to support students, not replace teachers, schools, tutors, or official education providers.

Yumio is an independent revision product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in partnership with AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR, or any other examination board. Yumio is not an official paper of those organisations.

Yumio practice is original. These are not official AQA, Pearson Edexcel, or OCR question papers or mark schemes. Yumio does not train models on exam-board question papers. Practice questions are original and written to published GCSE specifications. Yumio does not host an official paper library.

Yumio practice questions, digital papers, and AI feedback are original educational support. They are not official exam papers and must not be treated as board materials. Yumio does not claim ownership of examination-board materials.

Yumio does not guarantee that practice questions, AI feedback, or generated content will match official exam papers or marking decisions.

3. Who Operates Yumio

Yumio is operated by:

  • Company: SandroSoft
  • Product: Yumio
  • Email: alexusghh@gmail.com
  • Address: [Insert registered address]

SandroSoft is responsible for operating Yumio, maintaining the platform, protecting users, and ensuring the service is provided responsibly.

4. Creating a Yumio Account

Some Yumio features require an account.

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure.

You may be asked to provide:

  • Email address
  • Username/display name
  • Year group
  • School information (optional)
  • Subjects studied
  • Exam board preferences
  • Account settings

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login details private
  • Ensuring information provided is accurate
  • Reporting suspicious account activity
  • Not allowing other people to use your account

Accounts are personal and should not be shared.

Sharing accounts may result in:

  • Loss of progress tracking accuracy
  • Security risks
  • Account restrictions

5. Student Accounts and Users Under 18

Yumio is designed for students, including GCSE students who may be under the age of 18.

We recognise that many users are children or young people and take additional care when handling student information.

Users should only provide information that is necessary for using Yumio.

Students should not upload or share unnecessary personal information such as:

  • Home addresses
  • Private contact information
  • Government documents
  • Information about other people

Parents, guardians, and schools may contact Yumio if they have concerns about a student's use of the platform.

Yumio may take steps to protect younger users, including:

  • Preventing harmful behaviour
  • Restricting abusive accounts
  • Reviewing reports
  • Improving safety systems

6. Using Yumio

Yumio may only be used for lawful educational purposes.

You agree that you will use Yumio responsibly and respectfully.

You must not:

  • Attempt to access another person's account
  • Attempt to bypass security systems
  • Upload harmful files or malicious software
  • Damage or interfere with Yumio systems
  • Use Yumio for illegal purposes
  • Abuse AI features
  • Spam users or services
  • Attempt to manipulate rankings unfairly
  • Use automated tools to extract Yumio content without permission

You must not use Yumio to:

  • Harass other users
  • Bully others
  • Threaten users or staff
  • Spread harmful content
  • Impersonate another person or organisation

Yumio may take action against accounts that misuse the platform.

7. Learning Content and Educational Material

Yumio provides educational material designed to support learning.

This may include:

  • Lessons
  • Explanations
  • Examples
  • Practice questions
  • Revision resources
  • AI-generated educational support

We aim to provide accurate and useful information. However, educational content may occasionally contain mistakes or require clarification.

Students should use Yumio as a learning support tool and should check important information through teachers, official resources, or other trusted sources when necessary.

Yumio’s own lessons, practice questions, and digital papers are original educational support. Yumio does not claim ownership of examination-board materials. Where a student uploads their own work or a paper they are allowed to use, Yumio may give practice feedback on that upload. That feedback is still independent practice assist, not an official mark.

Yumio does not guarantee:

  • Perfect accuracy in every explanation
  • Identical difficulty to official exams
  • Identical marking to exam boards
  • A specific exam result

Academic success depends on many factors, including student effort and independent study.

8. AI Features and Educational Assistance

Yumio uses proprietary software, systems, and educational technology developed by SandroSoft. Certain features also use third-party AI models and infrastructure so the product can generate responses, explanations, and feedback when you ask for them.

The experience is provided through Yumio’s product and Yumio models (including Yumio Swift, Yumio Plus, and Yumio Genius). Underlying compute for those features may use trusted providers. That does not mean Yumio claims to have trained a frontier model from scratch, and it does not remove SandroSoft’s responsibility for how Yumio presents the service.

Third parties may process data only as needed to deliver the feature you requested (for example, generating a reply or marking feedback). See also Third-Party Services and our Privacy Policy.

AI features may assist with:

  • Explaining difficult concepts
  • Providing examples
  • Helping students understand mistakes
  • Suggesting revision methods
  • Giving feedback on written answers
  • Creating learning resources
  • Helping students practise exam-style questions

AI is designed to act as a learning assistant. It is not a replacement for:

  • Teachers
  • Schools
  • Tutors
  • Official examiners
  • Professional educational advice

AI-generated responses may sometimes be incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular situation.

Students should use judgement when using AI answers and should not rely on AI alone for important academic decisions.

Yumio does not guarantee that AI responses will always be:

  • Accurate
  • Complete
  • Suitable for every student
  • Identical to official marking guidance

9. AI Marking and Feedback

Some Yumio features allow students to submit work for AI-assisted feedback or marking.

This may include:

  • Practice exam answers
  • Handwritten work
  • Written responses
  • Uploaded documents
  • Photos of work

AI marking is provided as educational guidance only.

It is not:

  • Official exam marking
  • A replacement for an examiner
  • A guaranteed prediction of an exam grade
  • A substitute for teacher feedback

Official exam results can only be awarded by the relevant examination authority.

AI marking may occasionally differ from:

  • Teacher marking
  • Examiner decisions
  • Official mark schemes
  • Other marking systems

Students should use AI feedback as a way to identify improvements and areas to practise.

10. Uploaded Content

Yumio allows users to upload educational materials for certain features.

Uploaded content may include:

  • Exam answers
  • Photos of handwritten work
  • PDFs
  • Notes
  • Flashcards
  • Other learning materials

Users remain responsible for the content they upload. You must have the right to use a file before you upload it. Do not upload material you do not have permission for. Yumio may remove uploaded files.

By uploading content, you confirm that:

  • You have permission to upload the content
  • The content does not violate these Terms
  • The content does not contain unlawful or harmful material

You should avoid uploading unnecessary personal information.

Yumio does not host an official exam-board paper archive. If you upload a paper you obtained from a board, you are responsible for that file. Yumio may store, display, or process it to provide the feature you asked for, and may remove it.

Yumio may process uploaded content only for purposes connected to providing services, including:

  • Providing feedback
  • Generating explanations
  • Improving the learning experience
  • Saving user-created materials

Users should not upload:

  • Another person's private information
  • Copyrighted materials they do not have permission to share
  • Harmful or illegal content

11. Notes, Flashcards, and User-Created Learning Materials

Yumio allows students to create personal learning resources.

These may include:

  • Notes
  • Flashcards
  • Saved questions
  • Revision collections
  • Favourite resources

Users own the personal content they create.

Yumio does not claim ownership of a student's personal notes or original study materials.

However, by storing content on Yumio, you allow us to process and store that information so that we can provide features such as:

  • Saving your progress
  • Displaying your materials
  • Providing requested AI assistance

  • Share harmful content
  • Attempt to obtain personal information from other users
  • Cheat or manipulate competitive systems
  • Pretend to be another user

Yumio may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts where users misuse social features.

  • Payment information is accurate
